This work currently hangs in my Studio and can only be appreciated by viewing it in person. Executed in 2013 as a signature piece for an art show up in Washington State, it is painted on a birch panel made by Ampersand. It took many weeks to complete as the melancholic skies are glazed at least 7 times and had to thoroughly dry in between each stage. The reference photo for this was taken from a train that was on its very last run along the Columbia River. The title was born from that last ride, as we (and the train) were just Passing Through.
